Tonka Bean Perfumes & Colognes: 3,635 Fragrances With Tonka Bean

Tonka bean perfumes make up 3,635 fragrances in our catalog, with tonka bean used as a base note 88% of the time. Tonka bean is a warm, sweet seed that smells of vanilla, almond, hay and caramel, thanks to its high coumarin content. It is a long-lasting base note common in gourmand and oriental fragrances. It is most often paired with carnation, clary sage and almond, and these perfumes tend to be spicy and sweet. Well-known examples include Vetiver by Guerlain, Y by Yves Saint Laurent and Sauvage Parfum by Dior.
